[net.music] Attention ... Ellis

gmf@uvacs.UUCP (04/30/84)

Concerning the attack on net.music.classical by Michael Ellis:

Reminds me of the saying by one Hanns Johst (usually attributed to
a more notorious Nazi, Hermann Goering):

When I hear anyone talk of culture, I reach for my revolver.

Ellis signs himself Michael 'thrash for peace' Ellis. Should that be
'trash for peace' ?

What snobs will resort to when defending their sacred high culture...

When I hear snobs make snide remarks about their "culture", I reach
for my earplugs (and run for the toilet).

Bravo, again, Michael!! Autocopulation is too polite a suggestion for
such antagonistic narrow-minded snobs!

[Your attention, please. It is no longer Michael Ellis Week. It is now
 Chris Quinn Week.

 What a stupid ending!]
