I am looking for a reference which has a good section on programming with a mouse. Some sample programs would be great. I've already got the information which describes the Microsoft mouse interface. I would like to find "mouse-programming-for-complete-idiots" to get a jump start on the work. Thanks! -- Jim Vallino Siemens Corporate Research, Princeton, NJ jrv@siemens.com princeton!siemens!jrv (609) 734-3331

The May/June 1988 issue of Turbo Technix (put out by Borland - now defunct) has an excellent overview of the information you will need. You will get more in depth info by turning to the July/August issues. Michel Biedermann U. of Oregon ZENITH Student Rep.

Microsoft Press is supposed to be releasing their "Microsoft Mouse Programmer's Reference" this month. It's a book/disk combo ($29.95) that includes the device driver, mouse libraries, and sample programs in BASIC, QuickBASIC, QuickC, Microsoft C, Pascal, Microsoft Macro Assembler, and FORTRAN. MS Press usually does pretty good stuff, so you might check with your local bookstore to see if they're planning on getting it. -- James Deibele UUCP: jamesd@percival FidoNet #1:105/4.1 TECHbooks: The Computer Book Specialists (503) 646-8257 12600 SW 1st Beaverton, OR 97005 BBS: (503) 760-1473 C++, X Windows, TCP/IP, OOPS, AWK, UNIX, VLSI, & more ...
