Here's one for you old-timers: I have an application written for HBASIC, which runs on a real IBM PC with a Hercules mono graphics card. I want to run it on an AT clone with a VGA that has Hercules emulation. I know how to get the VGA card into Hercules mode, but still can't run the program (HBASIC either hangs or says "incorrect DOS version"). I believe that HBASIC is a program that modifies the True-Blue IBM ROM BASIC to work with Hercules graphics, and of course the clone doesn't have BASIC in ROM. Is there a version of HBASIC (or an equivalent product) that works with, say, generic Microsoft (GW) disk BASIC? Thanks for any info you can e-mail my way. - Jack -- Jack C.
