My group has an Atron AT Probe and I need to find a host machine for it. The AT probe is a board designed for an AT slot and it implements hardware assisted breakpoints, traces, symbolic debugging, etc. The board was designed for an AT and will work with other machines that are closely compatible. Some of the compatiblity requirements are: 80286, 8 MHz (10 MHz works for some machines), 1 memory wait state, INTAK in the co-processor socket, and writable at address F000:FFFF. Atron publishes a list of machines they believe are compatible. I suspect some machines on the list may no longer be available and some may be incompletely specified. Since the machine will be lightly used, I prefer to get an inexpensive yet reliable clone from a reputable source. I am seeking recommendations that meet these objectives. I prefer mail responses. Thanks. Some of the machines recommended by Atron are: Action Computer BC 10 Advanced St 286 AES AT Arche Rival AST Premium 120 AT Baby Compaq 286 Deskpro Compustar AT Datachecker Donatec AT Epson AX2 Epson Equity III Ericsson AT Honeywell AT HP Vectra Hyundai IBM AT Intech AT Mdec AT Mitac AT NCR PC8 AT NEC APC4 Onisys AT Omegq Opus PC5 Quantum AT Sefco Silver Reed AT Sperry IT Standard Televideo AT Telecat AT TI Business Pro Vaxmate Victor AT Wyse 2100/2200 AT Zenith 286 Roger H.
