	Hi!

I'm looking for the best version control package around
for the AT. I know a leading PC magazine did a comparison
of version control packages within the last year. Can
anyone remember which publication(s) and date I should
check? I would also appreciate your comments. What is
the leading VC package for the AT? The most powerful/
full-featured? The best for the money? Any SCCS clones
for the AT? It would be nice to have a package that
behaves like RCS and/or SCCS. Thanks in advance.

We have been using PVCS by Polytron. It works very well, is easy to
set up and learn, and has excellent vendor support.

The commands map from RCS, ie 'get' is like 'co', 'put' to 'ci'...
It is like RCS, except with enhancements that make it better.
One of PVCS's best features is its ability to handle binary files, so
you can place any kind of file under revision control. We use it to
control CAD schematic binaries, lotus files, wordperfect files, libraries,
etc. RCS will not handle these.

Polytron sells direct, their number is 503 645-1150
