3P303 PRACTICING PROJECT MANAGEMENT - A SIMULATION FOR MANAGERS
DESCRIPTION - This intensive 3-day course is specifically tailored to\the
needs of AT&T technical managers.  Presented in modular format, the
workshop emphasizes the planning, organizing and controlling of
engineering development projects and places in-depth emphasis
on: evaluation and selection of project management methods and 
techniques; estimation and progress; management of costs throughout the
project life cycle.  In as series of intensive project simulation
exercises, managers will be asked to plan, organize and schedule actual
project activities and resources and report of their successes.  A
rigorous simulation of the project management process, these exercises
will give managers experience using advanced management techniques
appropriate to telecommunications product development.

TARGET POPULATION - MTS Supervisors, Project Managers and Dept. Heads
from AT&T's Technical Community.
