My apologies for posting this, but I lost the address of the person originally responsible for the program, and the material might well be of general use anyway. Quite recently, someone posted source and binaries for the solitaire version of Mahjongg which supported the mouse, but required the Hercules card for operation. After having perused the sources, I have come to the conclusion that far too much of the program is specific to Turbo C (and its component graphics routines) for any reasonable port to Microsoft C (which is what I have access to). The reason this comes up, is I think it should be a relatively simple job to 'port' the program to use (or allow, as the case may be) other graphics cards. At least, from a solely graphical standpoint, this seems reasonable. However, it appears that some or all of the mouse manipulation is being controlled from the Hercules card. Not being familiar with either Turbo C or Hercules, I'm not really sure. Does anyone out there familiar with both (or even the programmer) have any real knowledge about the complexities of making this thoroughly enjoyable program available for other graphics cards? I have a great interest in this, so any help, however trivial, would be appreciated. Thank you in advance, Gunther W.
