[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Summary for extended->expanded mem

vanden@studsys.mu.edu (vandenberg) (04/01/89)

First off I would like to thank everyone who replied to my request for
a program that allows one to use extended memory as expanded memory.
The following is a summary of all the answers I recieved. I hope those
who contributed don't mind me giving out their email address where more
info would be necessary.

A gentleman by the name of Don Caprio knows of a company in California
that makes software that can go both ways. ie. XMS<->EMS
He can be reached at

There is a program on SIMTEL20 called VRAM.

There is a program by Karlton W. Kam called EMSimulator.

In the March 1989 issue of Byte a program called Turbo EMS is reviewed.
It is supposed to emulate the LIMS 4.0 using either extended memory
or (slow) hard disk.
