[comp.sys.ibm.pc] How many cylinders on a Seagate ST157R disk?

jpd@usl-pc.usl.edu (DugalJP) (04/04/89)

I have a new ST157R 3.5 inch hard drive that I want to low-level
format. I believe it has 6 heads and 615 cylinders, but I'd
like to hear from someone who knows for sure!

If it makes any difference, it is being used with an Adaptec ACB-2072
RLL controller, rev M.

Thanks for any assistance!
