Hi Folks I'am unable to fix the problems that i have with my MAXTOR I try to Low-Level Format the Drive with the Controller internal Programm.... It won't work the programm means 'Can't read the Manufacturer defect list on surface 0' and so on for each Head .... and then 'Reformat the Track' Continous doing this it will take HALF A YEAR to format the HD (Eek!) I guess the Jumper-Settings are wrong switched unfortunately i don't have a manual for the Harddisk....:-( Could anybody please help me??? i wanna feel the power of a 760 Mb drive with average of 12ms and TransferRate of about 800 Kb/sec (-------------------->BROAAAAAAA) Please E-Mail me as fast as possible Thanks for suggestions Lukas Schmidt BTW:The drive has 15Heads and 1632 Cylinders
