[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Remapping of Hardware Interrupts?

jal@valhalla.ee.rochester.edu (04/09/89)

I know that when a hardware exception happens on the 80x86
processor (in a PC), the interrupt handler is not necessarily the
one you would expect from the Intel documentation. As I
recall there is some kind of re-mapping of exceptions
conditions that occurs. Could someone please expalin to
me the remapping that happen (or provide a reference that
would explain this).

Thanks for the help.
