I need information about hand scanners. I never use them before so I don't
know much about. These are my questions:
1. How easy is it to use a hand scanner comparing to a flat-bed scanner?
2. What is the quality of the scanned immage from an original color pictures?
3. The width of scanned image of most hand scanner is only 4 inches, so if I
want to scan a bigger image, can I divide the image into two columns and
scan them seperately and merge them together?
4. If the scanner has 400 dpi resolution, and the laser printer has only
300 dpi, would this improve the scanned image? (could be a stupid question)
5. What is the difference between the 2 methods:
a. B & W (high contrast)
b. half-tone
Finally, your recommendation of a good scanner.
