I think I speak for everyone when I say how much the
terrible disaster on the space shuttle shocked us all.
Our thoughts are with the relations of the crew who were
aboard the Challenger.
However, on a more personal note, I have followed
the American exploration of space ever since I can remember.
It is my greatest wish that this shocking event will not only
serve to remind us all of the dangers of space travel,
but will also instill in us all the desire to continue our
outward push for the stars to defeat those dangers.
I hope that those concerned with the American
space venture will ensure that the brave crew of Challenger
will not have given their lives in vain.
