Our lab has two CompuAdd 386 machines with Micom Interlan Thin Ethernet cards. We had a heck of a time getting them to work together at all, but when we finally did get them to work, the throughput was AWFUL! We also have a Compaq 386/20 which runs the same card at full speed. The cards can both be pulled from the CompuAdd machines and placed into any of our other PCompatibles and they will function perfectly. Repeated calls to Micom and CompuAdd have produced no improvements. Has anyone managed to get a CompuAdd to work on a network? If so, how did you do it, and with what equipment?
