A friend of mine has an Expanded memory card (16bit I think) from Everex ( Ram3000 Deluxe or something like that). However, the person he bought it from ended up not giving him the original disks OR the manual! He called Everex and had to purchase the utilities and disks in order to get the manual ($30). He is still waiting for it... Now his problem. He has Disk Manager and Expanded Memory Manager from Everex running in memory. He then tries to run Enable 3.0 and there are a few things he can't do because of the limited memory... Now he would like to a program like desqview or something to run his programs in his expanded memory, but from what I have read he must have the expanded memory take over part of the base memory. I am checking to see what the least amount of memory the epson must have on the motherboard but even if it is 256k that will leave him with 384k of memory for applications in desqview, even if it went down to 128k on the base memory he would only have 512k (which I am not sure if it will go that low). He would like to have desqview give him full 640k in expanded memory. Can this be done? Anyone have any technical information on the Epson Equity II+? Is there any other package that will run programs in the expanded memory? He doesn't really need anything too fancy...
