I have a package called "Grammatik" which I've used sporadically.
It seems to do a pretty good job...it even tells you what grade level
your document is equivalent to.  I showed it to my father-in-law and
he asked me to try it on a letter he wrote. It said it was a fourth-grade
level document!  Boy was he pissed!
