I recently acquired a couple of defective Vertex Hard Drives, model V130. I say defective but the problems don't sound too serious. I feel that I can trouble- shoot them down to component level if necessary. What I am posting this message for is to find out some things. 1) How much formatted capacity are we talking about here (MeSsy DOS, MFM cont.) 2) What kind of power supply requirements? 3) What type of reliability? The 3rd question is optional, since they were given to me and I regularly backupmy software onto floppies. If anyone out there in Netland has any information regarding these drives, please leave email to me. Thanks in advance.
