I need some advice on memory expansion for an IBM EGA board. I have an IBM PC/AT with IBM EGA monitor and board. The problem is that the board only has 64K of graphics memory, which causes some interesting problems with certain graphically oriented packages. I know there used to be a daughter board by IBM which would expand the graphics memory appropriately, but I wonder if it would be more cost effective just to replace the IBM board with a compatible board with at least 256K of graphics memory? Would welcome alternative suggestions and/or replacement board possibilities. -- WOOLEN JAMES Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{allegra,amd,hplabs,seismo,ut-ngp}!gatech!prism!iaadmjw ARPA: iaadmjw@prism.gatech.edu

Unfortunely, they want to much for it at Zenith. But I am looking to up grade to a 16 bit VGA board and would be willing to sell mine. Craig Thompson ihlpe!mct
