Strangely enough, a variable clock would in fact work on the A2630, at
least over a range, providing it was a decent looking clock.  Which 
could be a problem; I even had trouble getting canned 25Mhz crystal
oscillators nice enough in the beginning.  However, it's morally 
improper to artifically slow down any computer system.  Better to just
waste cycles...

But seriously, I've wondered how I could pick up a few bucks running
ray traces for someone.  See, I've got these killer systems at home and
at work, and try as I might, I can't use both at the same time.  So at
any given moment, I have this totally unused 25Mhz system pretty much
just sitting there (obviously I don't render stuff myself).
