OK, I got a VERY simple question. How do you delete the last line of a file using GNU's version of SED? On Unix all you have to do is: $d but this doesn't work on GNU's SED. While I'm at it, can GNU SED search for a formfeed character (ASCII 12) and replace it with whatever? Any help is certaintly appreciated.
