[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Pcwrite Archive question

schanck@harmonica.cis.ohio-state.edu (Christopher Schanck) (05/22/89)

I recently downloaded the PCWrite (3.02) archives from Simtel20, and I
have a question. The documentation files come as .CRN 'crunched'
files. Three files are provided to manipulate these files. PRINTMAN
prints the files on the printer, TYPEMAN tyoes the files out on the
screen, and the third file, FILEMAN, ostensibly will let you simply
uncrunch them. Unfortunately, I need the files in ASCII form, not
having a printer myself, and I can't get FILEMAN to work. TYPEMAN
apparently bypasses DOS because I have been unable to redirect the
output. So can some kind soul either

1) Let me know the exact syntax of FILEMAN, if anyone has gotten it to
work;
2) Inform me of another program which will uncrunch the files?

Thanks,

Chris
