[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Looking for Public Domain Vectorized Clip Art for DTP

GU.MORRIS%SCIENCE.UTAH.EDU@wasatch.utah.edu (Richard Morris) (05/26/89)

I am looking for clip art (i.e. small pictures of miscellaneous things
such as baloons, people, keys, cars, plants, buildings, etc.) to be
used in DeskTop Publishing.

I would like the art to be in the public domain or such that royalties
would be low. It would be most preferrable if it was available in
a soft format in some kind of vectorized form. I have several options
for converting it from any standard data format to a format suitable
for my needs.

Any information, possible leads, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance your help!

You realize that it is entirely inappropriate to extend favor on this
request if you have slammed the previous request for X-rated material
as unfitting to this newsgroup. Nothing in this group's charter
distinguishes between clip-art for desktop publishing and pornography.
If you want to establish a graphics group where only PG-13 images are
acceptible, I suggest you try to establish comp.graphics.proper. And
then I suggest you see how many postings people bother to post to it.
And be sure to note the Arbitron ratings on readers as well.
