[comp.sys.ibm.pc] MS-DOS prompt and Prokey macros and tsr's

mdlawler@bsu-cs.bsu.edu (Mike Lawler) (05/26/89)

I need to make my MS-DOS cause the activation of a tsr whose hot
key is ^R. If this is not possible then I need to be able to make
the prompt start the play back of a Prokey Macro. If I can cause
the prompt to activate the tsr with ^R then I need to be able to make it
send the codes for the function keys 1-8 to the tsr. I think I could
do this if I had a program that would send the contents of the prompt
into the keyboard buffer and follow them with a carriage return.
The program would need to be able to edit what part of the prompt
it sent to the keyboard. I would appreciate any comments or
source code to programs that will do this if it is not to large.
Thanks for all responses.
