[comp.sys.ibm.pc] MicroSoft vs Borland Again / PC-Week article

bob@imspw6.UUCP (Bob Burch) (05/23/89)

From Ted Holden at HTE:

Religious-war fans will get a kick out of Garry Ray's article on page
49 of the May 22 issue of PC-WEEK. The latest polls seem to show customers
significantly more satisfied with Borlands programming products, INCLUDING
the Turbo-C 2.0 package vs MS-C 5 comparison. Interesting stuff.

	Well I certainly like their products over the equivalents from MS.
	I can't wait for Quattro Professional and Turbo C 2.5 to be released.

What's going to be in (new) 2.5, and when is it coming out?

Chris

Not to mention Turbo C++ 1.0! :-)

(Please don't interpret this to mean that I have any knowledge
 of such a future product release from Borland. I just have
 hopes.)

Yes, Quattro is already SO MUCH BETTER and more powerful than Excel!

I have no connection with Microsoft or Borland (except as an unhappy Quattro
owner and a happy Excel/Word/MSC owner).
