Anyone had any experience putting a hard drive (or hard card) into this XT clone? I'm interested in putting about a 20 meg hard card in (this will still leave the two 360K floppies) for my daughter to use at college. The Apex has a passive motherboard - the whole computer is on one plug-in card. I have expanded the memory to 640K, added a clock/serial card and a modem. Since there are only four connectors, I'll remove the modem to allow for the disk controller or hard card (after all, I have to leave the video card in). If anyone has any experience with the Apex or other similar mass marketed XT clones, please let me know. One of my concerns is power supply capacity. Bruce Miller (bmiller@burdvax.prc.unisys.com)
