Can ANYBODY point me to some sort of source that'll take an EGA/VGA/whatever screen and save it as a GIF image? John Bradley - University of Pennsylvania - bradley@cis.upenn.edu

By source, are you refering to the source code or the location? If you just need a binary, and have ftp ability, ftp over to chyde.uwasa.fi (anonymously) and search in the /pub/pc/pd structure, I beleive in a subdirectory called gif. There is a TSR there that lets you capture the ega screen which I've used and can verify that it works. Its called 'grabega' I think. Good luck... --M.
