[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Disabling Game Port/Joystick

klh@holin.ATT.COM (Ken Hinds) (06/16/89)

                         HELP!

I have a Leading Edge Model D computer (8088-2 processor) with
Pheonix ROM-BIOS... and I have a Game Card installed in one of
the expansion slots to support a joystick.

Now what I would like to be able to do is write a program that
disables the joystick so that "game" programs do NOT detect the
presence of the game card/joystick.

My question is, Is there a ROM BIOS interrupt available to do this?
If so, what is it? Nortons Programming Guide to the IBM PC does
not document this and I am at a loss.

Any Help would be appreciated!
