I have an Epson Equity III+ (AT compatible) and currently have a single Miniscribe 40MB hard drive in it with a controller that can support two. I would like to purchase an identical drive to get my system to 80MB. The problem comes in doing the partitioning under MS-DOS 3.3. From what I have seen, FDISK will force me to have 4 partitions since it doesn't allow partitions > 32MB nor ones that span multiple drives. What I would like is 3 partions, 1 10MB (bootable), 1 30MB, and 1 40 MB. I've heard of software that creates some type of device driver to handle this. What I'd like is something where I don't have to have any in-depth knowledge of disks, controllers, formatting, etc. In other words a simple menu driven system that makes it easy to set it up and if I want to change it later. Please mail me any suggestions on software to accomplish this. Thanks a lot. I will post a summary if there is any interest. Kevin L. Spier spierk@turing.cs.rpi.edu Kevin Spier spierk@csv.rpi.edu
