Is there an easy (or even not so easy) way to write-protect a hard disk? I'm willing to cut a ribbon cable or two, if needed... Thanks Terry Lee uunet!janus!terry

In article <427@janus.UUCP> terry@janus.UUCP (Terry Lee) writes: >Is there an easy (or even not so easy) way to write-protect a hard disk? > PC Magazine has published and issued a short program called PROTECT.COM which will make a hard disk read-only when first executed and will make it writeable when run a second time. It is included in their Utility disk, I think. Also you can download it from a lot of BBS. Hope that helps.
