Does anyone know of touch screen monitor manufacturers? I have called approximately 20 ibm dealers without much success. I would appreciate any information regarding the above. Thanks. ---Satch

Here it is again: You might try calling MicroTouch or Elographics. My 1987/1988 Electronic Industry Telephone Directory gives the following phone numbers and addresses. Of course I have no idea if this is current. Elographics Inc. MicroTouch Systems Inc. 105 Randolph Road 10 State St. Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Woburn MA 01801 (615) 482-4100 (617) 935-0080 I believe that MicroTouch uses a capacitive type touch panel on an NEC multisync monitor. I think that Elographics uses a membrane type touch panel. This probably isn't what you want, but Fluke makes both color and monochrome touch terminals. If you can live with character graphics sent over a serial port to a terminal, Fluke may have what you need. Fluke uses a membrane type touch panel. I hope this helps. -John -- * * * John Witters voice: (206) 356-5274 * \ * John Fluke Mfg. Co. Inc. * \ * P.O.B.
