I was asked by a client to find out what sort of disc drive will work with an unspecified IBM ps2. They are currently networked into a mini and have only the 3.5 drive. Do these computers need hard drive controllers or do they have the combination hd/fd controller either on the mother board or as as standard option. I've perused the mags and can find nothing advertised (my usual research source), so any help would be appreciated

What is with this machine? That is only one of several messages that have been mangled! I can't wait to see what happens to this one. MY MOTHER GOT A PS2! she got the hard disk, and no drive slots were used...so I assume that the controller is on the mother board... lance
