I am trying to figure out how to connect a regular TV (that's old- fashioned RF/NTSC to you EGA and VGA guys!) to our Compaq portable clone and am wondering what to make of the external connectors on the video board. We have this setup: | | |(*)| <- RCA jack | | |/-|| ||:|| <- DB9 jack I know the DB9 is for an IBM-type color monitor, but what's the signal coming out of the RCA socket? Is it an unmodulated NTSC signal, or one modulated on Ch.3 or Ch.4, or something completely different that we don't want to mess with at all? Enquiring minds want to know ... _______________________________ \ ... don't ask me, lihan (aka BB/CIV) / I'm just visiting this planet ... \_________________________________
