ANNOUNCEMENT: Student Volunteers Needed for AAAI-86

           Date: April 22, 1986
From: AAAI Staff, AAAI, Menlo Park, CA

AAAI-86 will be held August 10-15, 1986, in Philadelphia, PA. Student
Volunteers are needed to help with local arrangements and staffing of
the conference. To be eligible for a Volunteer position, an individual
must be an undergraduate or graduate student in any field at any college
or university.

Student Volunteers receive free registration at AAAI-86, as well as a copy
of the conference proceedings and a "STAFF" T-shirt. Participating as a
Volunteer is a terrific way to meet students and researchers in AI and
Robotics from all over the world. (It's also a whole lot of fun!)

Student Volunteers help with stuffing of registration packets, creating and
distributing conference direction signs, pre-registration and registration
of attendees, staffing of science and engineering sessions, staffing of
tutorials, and general organizational tasks. Twelve (12) hours of time
are officially required from each Volunteer, but in the general spirit of
the group, many Volunteers give more than the official minimum.

Some Volunteers are needed for a day two weeks before the conference. Some
are needed for a day three days before the conference begins. The
majority of Volunteers will be needed from August 10 - 15.
