The Titanic , which sank on April 15, 1912. Looks pretty much the same as she did when she struck the bottom of the the north atlantic 74 years ago. The lack of air in the water, has cut down on corrosion, also has cut down the amount of sea life to cover her. She is in a least 2 pieces, the largest part is from the bow to just behind the 3rd funnel. The rest of the ship is more or less undiscovered, or has just broken into so many small fragments, that they are not seen by the cameras. Of the 4 funnels that once crowned her top deck, 2 are still in place. The bridge area is damaged, this was done by the forward funnel. This happened while the vessel in the standing on end. A great deal of the contents of the ship, are littered on the floor of the atlantic. Most probably due to the fact that the boilers crashed through and cleared everything out of their path, including the bulkheads!! And of course, the ship broke and littered the contents from the the upper decks. One of the amazing things about the ship is the condition!!! She is in excellent condition, all things concidered. There are a number of rooms and sections of the ship that imploded, causing a great deal of damage. It is noticable even in some of the videos, that the colors are are still on the remaining funnels and on the structure of the vessel. In fact one of the cameras struck the 2nd funnel and brought up some buff paint, so far the only thing brought up from the ship. But all in all taking for granted the implosions and bruses, she still gives off a majestic air Please add to this if you can add futher details Thank you; Jack Stanley
