A week ago I posted a message about my dead 386 machine, asking for suggestions about what could be wrong and how to fix it. Now I'm happy to report that the computer is back up and running, and I would like to thank Russel Herman, Tom Almy, Bob Duckworth, Tomothy Kay, Steve Norton, Christian Kuhn, and Chain Dworkin for their replies to my help-cry. If anybody cares, the cause for the computer's failure was indeed the power supply. The power supply's outputs measured fine when they were not loaded. When the supply was plugged into the system board, the voltage levels were still around nominal, but the POWER GOOD status line coming from the supply was low. With a new supply, everything is back in order. Thanks again. Wolf Witt
