I'd like a program for MS-DOS that is somewhat like the cal program on UNIX. I'd like to be able to enter "cal 07/06/89" for example and get this for the output "Thu Jul 1989" If anyone has a program like this and preferably source as well will you please send me an US mail address so that I can send a disk for the program? Thanks a lot. -- Mike Lawler UUCP: <backbones>!{iuvax,pur-ee}!bsu-cs!mdlawler ARPA: mdlawler@bsu-cs.bsu.edu

The program day.exe in /pc/ts/tsutil27.arc does exactly what is described in the above. And for those, who have the capability, it is available by anonymous ftp from the University of Vaasa, Finland, 128.214.12.3. An earlier version tsutil25.arc came out in spring in comp.binaries.ibm.pc. Packages /pc/ts/tsutlc15.arc and /pc/ts/tscdar10.arc also include calendar oriented utilities.
