Dakota Research Corporation in Rapid City, SD has developed a top-of-the-line LIM 4.0 Expanded Memory board for the PC/XT class machines. We did not take a LIM 3.2 board and kludge together a LIM 4.0 device driver for it. Rather, we took the LIM 4.0 EMS specification and designed our hardware and software around it. The other manufacturers are ignoring all your PCs and XTs. We recognize that there are a lot of people out in this world who still use their PC/XT/Clone, and who want Expanded Memory. Have you considered the ability to MULTITASK on an XT? Or even just the ability to load large word processing files and spreadsheets without the need to swap to disk? Or what about even just having all the programs you normally use ALREADY LOADED (that way you can switch from one program to another without the time to unload one program and load another -- the time becomes literally milliseconds rather than minutes)!
