Re: A powerful desktop publishing system Ventura Publisher and Aldus Pagemaker are the two leading desktop publishing systems, with Ventura getting the nod for maximum capability. I have and use both Ventura and Pagemaker, although I've never used any of the other desktop publishing packages. For any document over about thirty pages in length, Ventura is definitely best, with Aldus being the choice for documents of under thirty pages. The other desktop publishing systems are short on power and performance. PC Magazine tested the desktop publishing systems in the April or May issue. -- Marcus wordproc@ucf-cs.ucf.edu
