[comp.sys.ibm.pc] searching for HELP program author

baird@cod.NOSC.MIL (John M. Baird) (07/24/89)

Back in Feb 1987 I saw a VMS-like HELP program for MS/PC-DOS
(version (1.1 [15]) on the USENET, and kept a copy. I have been
working with it since then, building a collection of text files
to provide a HELP facility for versions of MS/PC-DOS up through
4.01, and OS/2. It is now fairly complete.

It has reached the point where I think others might find them
useful, but I don't want to release the text files without a
program to use with them. Does anyone know how I could reach

who is the author of the above mentioned HELP program? I have
tried USENET mail and phone calls (DTS is still there but no
one calls back). Alternatively, does anyone know of another HELP
program structured along the lines of VMS help?
