Help...I'm suffering editor confusion! At work I use GNU Emacs. At home, I was using a locally crocked Emacs, and then MicroEmacs. Now I would like to use BRIEF (which seems faster on my tired old XT clone), but I just can't get used to the keybindings. BRIEF has all the EMACS commands and has the same Mlisp macro syntax. They just changed all the function names and keybindings. They may be better, but I don't want to learn them! Has anybody written a BRIEF macro to give EMACS keybindings? Thanks, Alan Davis aland@hpscdc

To summarize the responses: 3 persons recommended Epsilon 1 person recommended either freemacs (gnu-like) for the PC or "crisp", a brief-like PD program for DOS and unix. Alan Davis aland@hpscdc (in spite of posting from another machine)
