Mine has the Hercules compatible graphics card-the one that does CGA/MGA emulation, NOT the one that does the 720X348 Hi-res emulation-and wont work with GIF. Does GIF require an EGA board? I know someone who has a Hi-res hercules card and it won't work in his XT clone either. Thanks

I am looking for some anonymous ftp sites where I can find some
scanned images with 8 bit rgb values. I am also looking for
instructions on how to extract pixel and LUT values from gif files.
If you can help me on any of these, please e-mail.
