[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Wyse systems & 3.5" 1.44Mb floppies

Hello all. I've a Wyse AT clone, the pc286 Model 2108, with a 5.25" 1.2Mb
floppy drive and a fixed disk. I'd like to add a 3.5" 1.44Mb floppy drive
to my system. My question is: can I just get something like a cheap Teac
drive (~$80), or do I also need a new disk controller? The one inside my
system seems to be a WD1003-WA2. What do I have to do to get it working
with MS-DOS?

Finally, and most important: I've got a copy of OS/2 1.1 on 3.5" diskettes.
If I get the Teac, and possibly a new controller, will I be able to boot
the OS/2 installation diskette?

I will appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance.
