[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Info Wanted on VDI Drivers

kellow@ndcheg.cheg.nd.edu (John Kellow) (08/01/89)

Can anyone provide me with some information on just what VDI drivers are
and what they are used for. Is it like ANSI.SYS but for graphics instead?
What programs use these drivers?

VDI (Virtual Device Interface) has been replaced by CGI (Computer Graphics
Interface).

It is an ANSI standard interface to graphics hardware.
