I got a 1/3 hight 5.25in HD floppy drive made by Okidata from one of those clearing places for $50. It came with no documentation, but the drive reads and writes fine. I know it isn't jumpered right, as when I change disks, I get "Invalid Disk Change Error". Retry clears the error, but it is an inconvenience. I recall reading about this problem some months ago, and I was wondering if one of you who has an Okidata drive, or relevant experience, could tell me what jumper or switch to set to make the error go away. For your info, there is a group of 8 dip switches labeled: TERM, DS0, DS1, DS2, DS3, MX, HS, and HM -- Term and DS1 are on. I experimented with changing MX, HS, and HM, but had no success. My controller card is the Seagate ST02 with Bios 2.00, and my motherboard is the Mylex 386sx with Pheonix Bios 1.10.02 -- Kevin Allred allred@emx.cc.utexas.edu allred@ut-emx.UUCP
