I am a little confused over interlacing. What controls if the display is interlaced or non-interlaced: the monitor or the card. The Video 7 VRAM card will display 1024x768 NON-interlaced. The VGA Wonder displays 1024x768 interlaced. The IBM 8514/a displays the 1k mode interlaced. Is the following chart correct? VGA Board Monitor Picture --------- ------- ------- interlaced interlaced interlaced interlaced non-interlaced interlaced non-interlaced non-interlaced non-interlaced non-interlaced interlace interlaced(??) The reason I am asking this is because the Multisync 3D monitor is much cheaper than just about any other monitor that will display 1024x768, but it is interlaced. Also, Video 7 is introducing a new version of the Fastwrite that will display 1024x768x16 Interlaced (according to the latest issue of Byte Magazine). Danke Sehr! -----Dale Rogerson-----
