You should have no problems at all providing, of course, that you do not
hinder air flow circulation by plugging one of the air vents.  If you want
to be real safe, put the computer in the vertical position, and perform a 
low level hard drive format.  This will lay the needed logical tracks on the
media with the drive heads in the same position as they will be during
operation.
