I am posting this article for a coworker of mine who has a question.

software interrupts? I am collecting a list of their purpose and usages.

At least part of which was copied from an early-1988 (and therefore much less
complete) version of the interrupt list which appeared in comp.binaries.ibm.pc
last week.

Alan Demers: Here is the promised Fast Fourier Transform example.  It worked
         for the two examples I tried, so I'm fairly sure it is correct.
Student: Proof by exhaustive testing?
Demers:  Well, it sure exhausted me.
