Thanks to all who responded to my search of Hercules screen savers. Many people recommend BURNOUT. However, most screen savers, including BURNOUT, don't work with Hercules graphics mode. Hercsave by Benjamin Diss is the only program I have found that specifically supports Hercules, both text and graphics. Version 1.3 can be found on Simtel20. The current version is 2.0 and can be downloaded from CompuServe IBMHW section. If anyone is interested, I can upload it to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The program has been distributed for over 14 months, and the author has not heard of any problems. Please note that Hercsave requires a very Hercules-compatible card. I use a mono/CGA switchable card from Swan (TCP), and it doesn't work too well with Hercsave. Chia-Chi chao@cory.berkeley.edu
