I'd appreciate feedback from anybody using the following packages: DrawBridge from Courseware Applications (from the ad, it is a drawing package which generates Turbo C or Quick C code to reproduce your drawing) SoftCode from Software Bottling ... reads a skeleton program, adds the code to generate the screen(s) which you've created using their screen painter. Matrix Layout from Matrix Software .... similar to above ??? is it more powerful, or ??? Pro-C from Vestronix .... very expensive, presumably much more powerful code generator. The application involves creating a development environment for non-programmers (chortle :-)/2). Essentially, they would have a selection of skeletons which they could modify (the calculations portion). I believe that a screen painter / code generator would be more usable than a bare function-library for modifying the user-interface. I'd also prefer something which allows code-generation for the reporting section.
