[comp.sys.ibm.pc] ssignal.c

signal and stat.h are both included in Turbo C. They have
slight differences than MS C but should not cause too many
problems with a little reading of the manual.

Does anyone know if ssignal.c comes with Turbo C 2.0 compiler (latest release)?
I need it to compile Nethack 2.3 and someone says I am missing it. P.S. I boughtthe disks used from a friend and I'm not sure if I have a munged disk or whetherit is just not included. Please no flames about illegal copies, this is all
perfectly ethical. Also, what is the Turbo C equivalent of MSC's stat.h?

Thanks, Matt.

Do you mean ssignal.c or ssignal()? If you mean ssignal(), the answer is
no. TC 2.0 does, however, have signal().

If your disks are set up properly, #include <sys\stat.h> should work.

Sorry, I think ssignal is Turbo C 1.5 dependent. You may be out of luck there.

Oh, that's <sys/stat.h>, which matches the Unix standard placement of the file.
You mean some other compiler has irritating deviations from Unix standards?
Horrors! Oh, my! For a while there, I had thought Turbo C was the only one.

Sure it does. ssignal.c is in the examples subdirectory.
